Retumba "Retumba was the afternoon’s musical highlight with a high-energy set that took people through the sounds of Cuba and the Dominican Republic.” – The Cincinnati Post Retumba is a multi-ethnic, all-female Afro-Caribbean dance and percussion ensemble whose electrifying presentations have been heard throughout the United States. For almost 30 years Retumba has been interweaving the dynamic power of Caribbean poly-rhythms with the drama and excitement of African dance. Recent engagements include performances at The Music Center of Los Angeles, a special concert for the United Nations, and concerts at Avery Fisher and Alice Tully Halls in New York.
